This holiday season, Prince George’s Deputy Police Chief George Nader was the victim of credit card fraud twice in the course of 4 weeks. The police department posted a video featuring surveillance footage of the suspects, titled, "The Grinch Who Stole PGPD Deputy Chief's Credit Card."

This holiday season, Prince George’s Deputy Police Chief George Nader was the victim of credit card fraud twice in the course of 4 weeks.

The first time was a result of the Target stores security breach. Within hours after Nader’s Black Friday shopping excursion, his card was used in Germany.

In that incident, it was used at a few clothing stores and the holders of the ill-gotten account racked up over 2 thousand dollars in charges.

Nader said he became aware of the European spree after he got a call from the card issuer about suspicious charges.

He cancelled the card and got a replacement, which he unfortunately dropped while having lunch at an area Dave & Buster’s.

Within the hour, the people who scooped that card up were out and about in the neighborhood charging stuff.

They weren’t as lavish as the people in Germany, spending only 120 dollars.

In it, the deputy chief explains that he’s not getting special treatment, that’s just how these sorts of things are handled.
