Following graduation from the University of Colorado with a Psychology degree, Mr. Brower earned his J.D. at the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, California.

Mr. Brower was raised in Orange County as the oldest of 3 boys. He is the son of an attorney and a second generation criminal lawyer. He grew up as a court “system brat”, and he absorbed more about practicing criminal law sitting around the dinner table than most attorneys learn in a lifetime. He knows the people who run the courts, and with a specialized second tier level of understanding of the inner workings of the Orange County Court System, Mr. Brower skillfully negotiates and navigates a case through the system in a way that is unavailable to most attorneys.

Defense attorney Jake Brower served Orange County first as a Juvenile Defender and later as a Deputy District Attorney before opening his own criminal law practice in 1998.
An avid outdoorsman, Mr. Brower spends much of his free time fishing, hunting and enjoying the outdoors.
