Buzz Bishop attended the 2013 Calgary Hitmen Teddy Bear Toss on December 1, an annual event at the Calgary team’s home rink. 25,921 bears were thrown onto the ice when Pavel Padakin scored a goal. All of the stuffed toys will be donated to various charities, including the YMCA and the Red Cross. Over the 19 years of this event, more than 250,000 Teddy bears have been collected for charity.
