“You are not alone” (“Sen Yolg’iz Emassan”) charitable foundation was established in November 2002 at the initiative of Lola Karimova-Tillyaeva to support children in need. It is noteworthy that Uzbekistan, where the charity operates, is the most densely populated country in Central Asia, with 45% of population under the age of 18. As of 2012, there were 2,500 children being brought in the Uzbek orphanages, including 25 Mercy Homes and 13 orphanages for children under the age of three.
