In a yearly White House tradition, U.S. President Barack Obama, accompanied by his to daughters Sasha and Malia, pardons turkeys Caramel and Popcorn.
"Popcorn, you have a full reprieve from cranberry sauce and stuffing," Obama told this year's winning gobbler.
According to a statement from the White House, Popcorn was elected this Thanksgiving's top bird by voters who voted for #TeamPopcorn on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
This year, the two 38-pound turkeys came from Roseau County, Minnesota, and were selected from a group of 80 turkeys that competed to be make it to the White House.
