How does this affect my judgement? - I won a judgement which was issued against a man who caused an accident that left me paralyzed 22 years ago. The man who lost the judgement has paid me only $500 in 22 years. I had a writ for attachment which was recalled when he filed bankruptcy 3 days prior to appearing in court to answer to his default on my judgement. There is now a stay in effect for his bankruptcy. Can you tell me how this will affect my case? My judgement states that it is non-dischargeable in bankruptcy. Can we attach his assets to bring the judgement up to date under a bankruptcy stay? -
