Jacksonville, Arkansas police have released the squad car dash cam video of an October school bus hijacking to the public as well as the 911 call received from a witness.

On October 17th, a woman dialed the emergency line and reported, "He got on the school bus with a knife, with the bus driver. And they're driving down North Martin Street."

Inside with the hijacker and the driver were 11 children.

Several police cars responded to the call and chased the bus for 12 miles. The chase ended when the vehicle was disabled by spike strips authorities had placed in its path.

Video shows the driver and the school children all getting off of the bus safely.

Police arrested 22-year-old Nicholas Miller, who reportedly didn’t resist.

He told authorities that he was being chased and was just trying to get away.

Miller has since pleaded not guilty to 22 charges, 12 of which are for kidnapping.

The family of Nicholas Miller has come forward and said that he has been working through a drug problem.

They also shared that they’ve tried to get him to seek the help of a mental health professional, but have been unsuccessful.
