Find the best financial services for you at: SMARTFINANCESOLUTIONS.NET - How much will a judgment and bankruptcy deletion improve my credit? - Due to the good advice of my fellow Yahoo Answers crew, we figured that the legwork could be done myself instead of paying $660.00 for the purpose of a judgment deletion (see previous question recently posted for complete story!) to a former lawyer used in the filing of my bankruptcy after my home was placed into foreclosure. I posted here and was given some really good advice by KIT to contact my state's Attorney General's office as opposed to just shelling out money to this lawyer for basically the same thing I could do. Through further investigation I discovered that the bankruptcy filing and judgment placed on me by the mortgage company will be falling off my credit report naturally in March and April of this year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!… I wanted to faint when I was told this information and confirmed it by going to annualcredit report.com and printing off my annual report with the estimated dates of removal confirming what the gentleman from the Attorney General's office told me.
So, my next question is: How drastically will these deletions improve my credit? I'm trying to wait until around June to pull my credit again to make sure that my deletions are made but I just want to get your opinions on how hard I need to celebrate!!!!!!! and yes I'm going to start house hunting around that time too.
