War weary Syrians mull peace talks

An internet video purports to show young children coming under a shelling attack in Damascus.

This comes as an international peace conference for Syria is set for January 22, hoping to find a transitional administration, to end a civil war that has killed over 100,000 people.

Syrians living in Sarmada have mixed reactions.

Many hope to find a political solution to the stop violence. Others believe it will be nearly impossible to end the Assad regime.

It remains unclear whether Syria's ally Iran will attend the talks, but its foreign minister Mohammad Javad Zarif says Tehran is willing to take part, if invited.
