Find the best financial services for you at: SMARTFINANCESOLUTIONS.NET - How do I fix my impulsive/ addictive behavior associated with bi-polar disorder? - Help! I've got serious issues - They include: alcohol, smoking, gambling, sex with strangers, and recreational drug use. I'm like Charlie Sheen without the millions. I screwed up a great career 5 years ago due to alcohol and since then my life has been spiraling down the toliet - to include 3 more arrests (makes 7 total), a bankruptcy, and current unemployment. I'm diagnosed bi-polar and have a very difficult time controlling my impulsive behavior. Last month I won 5 grand playing poker then decided it would be a good idea to get drunk and lose 5 grand plaing blackjack. I've been to rehab 3 times, aa, and have been on a bunch of depression medication but nothing seems to help. I always seem to revert to my addictive ways - I'm fortunate in that all my arrests have been for misdemeanor alcohol charges and I've managed to get all the charges thrown out or dismissed. So, I've got a clean record, and I've put a few years between me and my bankruptcy - so I haven't completley screwed myself - If I can stop now I feel like I can recover some sort of a life - but the problem is every time I start to gain a little forward momentum I self destruct. I have an incredibly supportive family - which is really the only reason I haven't blown my brains out already - Not sure what to do at this point - Help!!! -
