.As per the Supreme Court guidelines, 20 per cent of the fees collected from these seats should go to provide scholarships to meritorious students trying to pursue higher education. Despite the colleges increasing the fees by 100 per cent to 400 per cent in past five years, none are providing scholarships as per the norm
