Yesterday a huge Boeing Dreamlifter 747 sat on the runway of a Wichita, Kansas airport because it couldn’t take off. Pilots had accidentally landed jumbo jet at the wrong airport leaving it on a runway too short of a standard takeoff. After some serious consideration, a new crew managed to fly the oversized bird out of Jabara airport and over to its intended destination, McConnell Air Force Base.
