Turkish police seal off streets in Ankara after a man was detained for carrying a device, designed to look like a bomb.
The man tried to breach a security cordon near Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan's offices.
The fake bomb reportedly looked like a white corset and a slab of putty wrapped in cling film, attached by wire to a small black device.
The Turkish Interior Minister told reporters that the man had called police five minutes beforehand to tip them off about himself. Police fired into the air during the incident but no one was shot.
The man detained is believed to have psychological problems.
