I am finding it very hard to pay my bills with the little bit of savings that I do have. I have 3 children. I have been in my house for 7 years and I don't want to lose it but I might have to. I am not in foreclosure yet but it won't be long until it happens. My mortgage company will not work with me and I called the Hope Now which didn't help. I am concerned that if there is a balance left after the mortgage company auctions my house off and I can't pay it, will my wages and income tax returns be garnished? I live in Texas. I know that bankruptcy will not stop foreclosure but should I file it? I have no one to lend me any money and my credit is not good so I will not be able to get a loan.
