The trouble with Blood Brothers is that it’s not a competition. It’s dressed up like a competition, with graphics, varieties, and a semblance of a tale, but when it boils down to it there’s virtually no playing entailed whatsoever.
Similar to its stablemate Rage of Bahamut, Blood Brothers tempts you in with pretty fantasy art work and a guarantee of progression, then abandons you to swan off and play the game on its own.
It’s like a mean older sibling who reveals you the brand-new playthings god’s worn then relegates you to colleaguing over his shoulder as he battles daimons with them.
