I lost everything I had worked for including my home. I had to file Chapter 13 bankruptcy. I surrendered my truck because I couldn't afford the payments even under Chapter 13.

That truck is still sitting in my yard over 2 years later. The finance company was supposed to repo but never did. They called and made appts to pick up but never showed. I called them and they still never showed. Truck is sitting with a flat tire, battery was stolen, dirty and dusty.

My landlord said that I may be able to keep the truck now because it is considered abandoned. Is this true? And if so how would I go about doing that? Is it legal for me to put a tag back on it and drive it in the meantime? Is there anyone here who knows about this type thing? -
