Beaumont Texas teen Reginald Wells knocked out by teacher

Views 5

Reginald Wells, a 12 year old attending Willie Ray Smith Middle School in Beaumont Texas, was allegedly knocked out by a 20 year old teacher's assistant, after wisecracking about the TA's favorite football team.

The seventh grader is 4ft-11inches tall and 80 pounds, but claims he was clocked by the teacher who is twice his weight and age. He claims he stopped the TA to joke about the football team with him, and was initially hit in the shoulder by him. "I looked at him like 'what the heck?'" He then pushed the teacher's shoulder.

He was then met with a flurry of punches from the young TA; two in the body, and then a solid uppercut to the head that sent him sliding across the floor, according to reports from a bystanding teacher.

The teacher was subsequently sent packing on the spot by the school's principal. Reginald's mother Adrianne says she can't believe the teacher wasn't arrested. She will be persuing legal action in this matter.
