British Foreign Secretary William Hague said in Geneva on Saturday (November 9) it was not possible to determine whether a deal would be struck on Iran's nuclear programme but that talks to resolve a decade-long standoff were making "good progress".
(SOUNDBITE) (English) BRITISH FOREIGN SECRETARY WILLIAM HAGUE SAYING:
"These negotiations have made very good progress and continue to make good progress, I think it is fair to say. But there are still important issues to resolve, so clearly they are not over yet, we are going to have to give a lot of time and attention to these issues during the course of today and there is no fixed time for us to reach a conclusion."
Negotiations between foreign ministers from the Islamic state and six world powers have stretched into a third day with all parties locked in marathon talks to find an agreement to ease international fears that Iran is seeking the capability to make nuclear weapons and, in exchange, offer the Middle East nat
