Kareena Kapoor and Farhan Akhtar will be seen together first time in a film to be directed by Jasmeet Reen and produced by Ashi Dua. The film in question is a biopic in which Farhan Akhtar will play a renowned Urdu poet and Hindi lyricist Ludhianvi. Kareena Kapoor is likely to play the role of Amrita Pritam, Ludhianvi’s love interest.

However, Kareena has not signed on the dotted lines and she is in the process of script reading,"I have been offered the film and I am still in the process of reading it, I am going through it," Kareena said.

If we recall, Kareena has earlier walked out of Zoya Akhtar’s film but it did not strain her relationship with Farhan Akhtar. "Its an actor's prerogative and choice to do a film or not. And I am friendly with Zoya and Farhan. They are wonderful, they keep offering me films. And it is an actor's choice which film to do and not," she said.

If Kareena gives her nod then this would be her first biopic while Farhan has worked in a biopic ‘Bhag Milkha Bhag’ which was highly applauded by the audience.

The diva will be next seen in Karan Johar’s ‘Shuddhi’ and it is heard that she will build up a tough physique for the film, when asked Kareena said, "I don't like action films, they don't excite me much. So I don't know, not sure. I did it once in Tashan and that is enough. Size zero is over, people like me the way I am today”.
