Search efforts for missing children are always frantic. A family in the UK is now counting their blessings after a little boy seemingly disappeared from his room.
Thankfully the subsequent search and panicked measures were called off because the child was found sleeping under his bed. The parents of the three-year-old boy named Noah claimed to have tucked him in and put him to bed at the normal time.
Everything seemed fine until they checked on Noah again. That’s when the terrified mom and dad discovered his bed was empty. They immediately contacted emergency workers, assuming the boy had been kidnapped or wandered outside on his own.
Devon and Cornwall police responded to the house and conducted a quick search of the residence before organizing a hunt in surrounding areas outside the house. A police helicopter and K9 dog were also recruited for the search.
After scouring surrounding property for about 2 hours, law enforcement decided to return inside Noah’s residence to conduct a more thorough search. That proved to be a wise decision.
Noah was found dozing peacefully underneath his own bed.
