Boat after boat traveling illegally to Europe via Italy's deadly waters faces an at-sea emergency.
On Thursday, the Italian Coast Guard rescued 700 migrants off the coast of Lampedusa.
Fresh video from the rescue shows a black rubber dingy loaded with about 95 migrants as the Coast Guard approaches.
Days later, the Coast Guard intercepts this migrant boat off the Sicilian coast, this time carrying 137 migrants.
Such rescue and recovery operations are raising concerns in Europe surrounding the issue, which only seems to be getting worse.
Italy has upped its surveillance in the seas between Libya, Tunisia, and Italy, since more than 360 primarily Eritrean migrants drowned in early October, and a second boat sank a week later, leaving 200 missing.
