With Ajay Devgn being finalized as the male lead of Singham 2, the actress space of the film is unfortunately, still lying empty. While earlier, we had reported that director Rohit Shetty is keen to rope in his Golmal partner Kareena Kapoor, some other stories further suggested that Jhalak Dikhla Jaa fame Drashti Dhami has also been approached to play female lead in the film. However, resting all the speculations this time and ignoring Drashti's story on the whole, one of the sources reveal that Kareena has apparently been requested to back out from the film! According to our sources, Rohit feels that the female space has very less of an importance in the film and hence doesn't want an established actress like Kareena to do that part!
