Pamplona, 21 Dec (EFE), (Camera: Javier Rodrigo).- A research group from the Universidad Pública de Navarra have been able to adapt a Volkswagen Polo to run on petrol or hydrogen, a fuel that produces water as exhaust, help reduce our reliance on oil and generate less greenhouse gases.



The vehicle, the first of its type created in Spain, is an important step for the project developed by the Hydrogen Research Group, who produced a hydrogen-powered car for the first time in Spain in 2009.
