Domestic fights can happen for some bizarre reasons. In one troubling case, a woman in South Florida has been accused of stabbing her boyfriend after his dog ate her stash of marijuana.

26-year-old Shadae Scott, who makes a living as a model, allegedly sliced her partner, Kevin Wiggins, with a small pink pocket knife, causing small facial cuts and a gash across his hand. According to law enforcement authorities, officers were sent to Scott’s residence at about 7 at night on a recent Sunday.

The couple had two very different versions of events. Wiggins claimed the two got into a fight after his dog ate her pot. He said she kicked him out of the apartment and then stabbed him once he inquired about where his belongings were.

Scott claimed the argument stemmed from dinner plans and things turned physical when she attempted to leave the home and Wiggins interfered. Scott said she produced the knife for self defense and Wiggins walked into the blade.

Police didn’t buy her side of the story. Scott was arrested and charged with domestic battery.
