Jedi Knight 2 is a third/first person action game wherein the player takes control of Kyle Katarn. The game is functionally similar to the first Jedi Knight game, in its combat system, however the third person light saber combat is more fluid than in the first due to the use of the Quake 3 Arena engine. In the game one can choose from a variety of force powers, and can level them up in any way one wants. The levels for the game are all complex and progress usually requires a bit of ingenuity.
