Madrid, 11 Jul (EFE).- Several thousand people gathered in the Spanish capital on Wednesday in a show of support for disgruntled coal miners who the previous day arrived in Madrid after a three-week protest march from northern Spain to demand that the Government backtrack on its decision to slash by more than half subsidies to the mining sector.
