Rajjo Preview

Written and Directed by Vishwas Patil, 'Rajjo' is a women centric film starring Kangana Ranaut in lead. It's a love story that is set against the backdrop of the decaying Kothas of Mumbai. It's a journey from a Mujra girl to a house wife, where Kangana will be seen romancing an 18-year-old boy.
The movie revolves around a nautch girl Rajjo, played by Kangana Ranaut, but her rural childhood has shaped her into an altogether a different person, which is quite like a Tawaif. As the story moves further, she soon fell in love with an 18 year old Brahmin boy Chandu, played by Paras Arora.
Chandu visited first time to the Kothas of Nagpada, along with his friends to celebrate his victory, where he meets Rajjo. She mesmerizes him with her enticing and alluring Mujra Dance. For Chandu, it is now love at first sight. However, he belongs to a family of music lovers and music is the common thread, and thus it is the strong attraction that draws Rajjo and Chandu together, that eventually seals their love.
Begum, played by Mahesh Manjrekar, who is eunuch, runs the Kotha. Although he is a strict person, but when he came to know about Rajjo's love, he gets them married. On the other hand, Handa Bhau, played by Prakash Raj, is a corporator with powerful political connections, and wants Rajjo at any cost. He now tries to break the relationship in all the possible ways.
Will Handa Bhau become successful in his evil intentions? Will Rajjo be able to complete her journey from a mujra girl to a house wife? This social dramatic movie is all set to release in theatres on November 15, 2013.
