Mexico City, Feb 6 (EFE).- Mexican authorities say they are closing in on a gang of criminals that raped six Spanish tourists on the outskirts of the Pacific resort city of Acapulco.
Without going into detail, the attorney general of the southern state of Guerrero, Martha Elva Garzon, told Radio Formula that investigators had made "important advances" towards solving the case.
Acapulco has been plagued by drug-related violence in recent years.www.efe.com
