LIKE HEROIN: New Drug Hits U.S. Streets; Leaves Users With Lizard-Like Scaly Skin

A heroin-like drug from Russia called Krokodil has shown up in the US. It’s made by mixing codeine with gasoline or paint thinner. Two people in Arizona were treated for symptoms related to use of the drug. Side effects include giving it’s user lizard-like scaly skin, necrosis, gangrene and even amputation. Doctors treating the patients worry the drug may become much more prevalent.
