Syria's civil war is threatening some of the oldest cultural heritage sites in the world. Heavy fighting has damaged castles, synagogues and many other precious artefacts. So a group of historians and museums have joined forces with the U.S. State Department to try to save them. Al Jazeera's Cath Turner reports.
