This is all that's left of Malar village after the 7.7 magnitude earthquake in Pakistan.
Residents here represent just a handful of the thousands left homeless in Baluchistan province.
Some are trying to salvage what little they can of their belongings.
The memory of the quake which killed at least 327 people is unlikely to fade quickly.
(SOUNDBITE) (Urdu) LOCAL RESIDENT, ABDUL WAHID, WHOSE HOUSE WAS DESTROYED, SAYING:
"We had heard of catastrophic earthquakes, but had never seen one. It was like the apocalypse breaking over us. We had no idea what was happening to us."
Malar is one of hundreds of such villages in the region to be devastated so completely.
Initial estimates say more than 300, 000 people have been affected by the quake.
Pakistan's Red Crescent Society says tens of thousands of families may have been left homeless without food or clean water.
