Sandra Bullock cemented her place in Hollywood history on Wednesday (September 25) - literally.
The Oscar-winning actress placed her hands and feet in cement at Los Angeles' iconic TCL Chinese Theatre.
The actress even brought her 3-year old son, Louis, to the event - waving to him with cement-covered hands.
SOUNDBITE: Sandra Bullock, "Gravity" star, saying (English):
"This kind of accolade is something that you have to share with all the people you get to work with. No one gets here by themselves. In this industry, some industries one person can accomplish great things; this industry, one person needs another 300 to accomplish something even mediocre."
The hand and footprint ceremony was in honor of Bullock's upcoming movie "Gravity," where she plays an astronaut cast adrift in space after disaster strikes her shuttle.
Bullock said she was honored to take part in Alfonso Cuaron's 3D thriller, but said fans may be in for a surprise.
