The debate over retirement of Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar has been on for some time now and the reports surfaced on Wednesday (Sep 18) again sparked the debate. It appeared that chief selector Sandeep Patil has spoken to Tendulkar over his future and the West Indies series in November could be his last. However Sandeep Patil and the BCCI have denied that such message has been conveyed to the master blaster. Tendulkars's lean patch has run for over two years now and the home series against West Indies is the best chance for the run machine to silence his critics.
