A gunman shot at least four people at the Washington Navy Yard Monday morning, including a District of Columbia police officer, a police spokesman said.
The condition of the shooting victims was not immediately clear, the spokesman said.
Dozens of police vehicles, and emergency personnel responded to the scene.
