Mirpur, Sep 16: Pakistan built the Mangla Dam on the Jhelum River in 1967 to provide water for irrigation and generate electricity for rich landlords and industrialists. However, the people of Mirpur in Azad Kashmir lost their ancient city, shrines and fertile land.
