A 32-year-old man basically went on a rampage, harming packaged food items. The bizarre ordeal unfolded on September 5th at a supermarket located in Okayama Prefecture, Japan. The male has been accused of walking through the store and poking items on display.

Packs of meat reportedly had holes in them while loaves of bread were strewn around on the floor.

The man stayed inside for approximately 15 minutes, which is when he carried out the rampage on the food. In total, 103 items were damaged and the monetary loss was just under $600.

A store employee contacted police while the male was in the store, but by the time officers arrived, he had already left the scene on foot. However the suspect returned a little while later to pick up a bicycle he left at the supermarket.

Cops immediately questioned him about the bizarre incident. The man confessed to the crime and stated “Earlier the staff didn’t treat me right. I got upset.” It is currently unknown what charges the man will face.
