An unidentified man reportedly stole a cat after drinking a little too much. He then posted an ad on Craigslist with a heading that reads ‘Possibly stole someone’s cat while I was drunk last night’.

Ok, so we've all heard stories of people acting silly after some drinks but one California man took it too far.

The man felt so horrible about his actions that he posted an apology online the day after swiping the black kitty named Django.
The drunken man claimed to have thought he was doing a good thing by rescuing a stray but noticed the next morning that Django had a collar, clearly labeling the animal as someone’s pet cat.

The soft-hearted man is now trying to find the kitty’s human family. He has posted an ad on Craigslist with a comical heading that reads ‘Possibly stole someone’s cat while I was drunk last night’.

He even included a picture of Django, hoping the owners will easily recognize their pet. The unnamed cat thief said he was feeding Django cheese. He also pointed out that he doesn’t have a litter box.

In the man’s own words, he described Django as a cat with sleepy eyes that appears to be stoned.
