Four men accused of the deadly gang rape of a 23 year old woman arrived at an Indian court on Tuesday (September 10) where a verdict in the case is expected later in the day.
A judge will rule whether the men are guilty of raping the woman on a moving bus in New Delhi in December last year. The woman later died from her injuries.
The verdicts cap a seven-month trial, that was punctuated dramatically by a fifth defendant hanging himself in his jail cell.
A juvenile has also been convicted in the case. He was recently sentenced to three years in a juvenile detention center.
The case has sparked a national debate about the treatment of women in the world's second most populous country.
