Delhi Police arrest three suspected tiger poachers in India.

Authorities seized 18 kilograms of tiger remains worth almost 80 thousand US Dollars.

(SOUNDBITE) (Hindi) ADDITIONAL COMMISSIONER OF POLICE (CRIME), RAVINDRA YADAV SAYING:

"A team of the Crime Branch under [the] Deputy Commissioner of Police, Visham Singh has busted the biggest gang of wildlife poachers and smugglers."

Local media reported officials confiscated tiger skin and parts of the animals' skull, teeth, nails and bones which the suspects had planned to sell in the black market in the China and the Far East.

The commissioner said that men had a vast network across the country, including tribal communities.
