Ahmed Akkari was a controversial radical Muslim religious leader, who helped stoke worldwide anger against Danish cartoons showing Mohammed with a bomb in his turban. Now he has undergone an equally radical transformation of tolerance. Seven and a half years after the cartoons controversy, the former imam says the drawings were justified as free expression.
