Silted over river flows into Dehradun valley

Is that the Song or the Susua river? What a wonderful name for a river - it directly translates as the 'Urine'! See Dehradun in wonderful post-monsoon shower evening light, with the sun filtering through the clouds after the dust and the particulate matter have been cleaned from the air. An excellent view from Landour and the Mussoorie hills.

This river seems to flow towards Haridwar and hence probably contributes to the Ganga. Please note the heavy silting as this was filmed shortly after the Uttarakhand floods of 2013. All the rivers of Garhwal and Kumaon brought down a lot of sediment in this extra productive monsoon flooding.
