Guests who came to honor and remember the life of a man named Brendan Duffy were left baffled after a strange voice was heard coming from speakers in the religious building.

Funerals are usually somber events. The only sounds normally heard are the voice of whoever is reciting a eulogy or prayer along with the crying of grieving loved ones.

However that wasn't the case at a church in Windsor, United Kingdom. Guests who came to honor and remember the life of a man named Brendan Duffy were left baffled when they heard the voice of a stewardess on a passing plane over the church's speaker.She was alerting passengers that the plane was beginning its descent. The voice filled the room right as the deceased elderly man’s nephew was delivering the eulogy.

The stewardess was heard telling travelers to 'fasten their seat belts' and 'prepare doors for landing’.

It is believed that the incident happened because the church’s speaker system and the plane's radio were on the same frequency and somehow the signals got crossed.

Luckily the family took it lightheartedly. The eulogy delivering nephew stated “Everyone was looking around and up to heaven, trying to figure out where the voice was coming from. Everybody saw the funny side — it was a real talking point.”
