The United Kingdom is reportedly going to lose the second place spot to India in terms of the number of store locations.

There are currently around 5 thousand Domino’s Pizza locations in the United States, followed by the UK with just over 700 outlets, and India with 600. Over the next two years however, there are plans to open another 125 restaurant locations in India.

Domino’s unveiled their “Pizza Theatre” concept at the opening of the six hundredth store in a district of Delhi, India.

Locations with the Pizza Theatre concept are designed to engage their patrons with an open restaurant and display kitchen layout where customers can watch their pizza being made.

The company is reportedly focusing on upgrading their dine-in services and is looking at larger size locations than usual.
