Two of the most anticipated upcoming video games are FIFA 14 (officially titled FIFA Soccer 14 in North America) and call of Duty: Ghosts. Let’s dive in and take a look at what has been confirmed about them thus far.
FIFA 14 (published by Electronic Arts and developed by EA Canada) is currently set for a September 2013 release and will be available for PS3, Xbox 360, PC, OS X, 3DS, and the PS Vita. Argentine soccer star Lionel Messi will once again be featured on the game’s box art.
A myriad of new features has already been announced for FIFA 14, including more realistic ball physics that will vary the trajectories, force, and accuracy of every shot, a new shot system known as “Pure Shot” that feels more lifelike in areas the likes of approach angles, a new blocking system called “Protect the Ball”, increased teammate intelligence, quicker ability to turn and cut with “Sprint Dribble Turns”, more realism and variety in dribble physics, better recovery from missed tackles through “2nd Chance Tackles”, the ability to curve shots around opponents, and the “Skill Games” practice.
