London /Washington DC, Aug 26: Jamaat-ud-Dawa, the parent body of banned terror group Lashkar-e-Taiba, is aggressively promoting fundamentalism and international terrorism. The organization, which operates from Pakistan, is headed by Hafiz Muhammad Saeed, the mastermind of 2008 terror attacks in India’s Mumbai city. Financially aided by Pakistan’s ruling government PML (N), Hafiz Saeed’s Jamaat-ud-Dawa is growing by leaps and bounds. The Punjab province government has allocated Pakistani Rs. 61 million (590,000 USD) in its budget for fiscal 2013-14 for Jumaat-ud-Dawa’s centre known as `Markaz-e-Taiba’.
