A young mechanic in Toronto is now without a job. He made a big mistake when he posted a request for marijuana on Twitter.

Obtaining drugs through social media is definitely not the smartest move.

And who would know better now than a mechanic named Sunith who recently got fired from his job at Mr. Lube in Toronto.

His crime - well he made a big mistake when he posted a request for pot on the social media site Twitter. In the Tweet, Sunith asked if any drug dealers in the local area would come to the Mr. Lube location while he was working and drop off some marijuana.

He finished off the posting by stating he needed ‘a spliff or two’ to help him get through the day. The York Regional Police got wind of the post and replied “Awesome! Can we come too?"

That sarcastic remark went viral and York police retweeted the post to one of the directors on the board for Mr. Lube. Since the Twitter controversy, a manager at the Mr. Lube location confirmed Sunith no longer works there.

Sunith then posted on Twitter that he was fired. Since his termination, Sunith has changed his profile from "aspiring mechanic" to "my tweets are NOT serious by any means."
