Female police officers in Detroit are livid after their bra sizes were mistakenly leaked to the entire department. The ladies provided their weight, height and cup sizes so form fitting bullet proof vests could be ordered.

A major error happened when the department received email notification that the vests were ready for pickup. Commander Dwayne Love forwarded the email to fellow commanders.

They in turn re-forwarded the message to the supervisors who sent the email to the officers. An excel spreadsheet was attached to the email, and that list contained the lady officers' bra cup sizes.

According to Assistant Chief James White who referred to the mishap as a ‘clerical error’, Love was not aware the information was on the spreadsheet until it was too late and the email had already been forwarded throughout the whole department.

White stated “However, it's an embarrassing situation, and I'm going to be addressing the issue formally with him over the next couple weeks. Once we complete our investigation, there will be corrective action.”

Although the department plans to issue a formal apology to the female officers, grievances have already been filed as some of the women have encountered ridicule by their male co-workers.
