Time seems to pass very slowly when flying.
Now, passengers on Virgin Atlantic’s Little Red flights traveling from Heathrow to Manchester and Edinburgh will be treated to some live in-cabin entertainment.
Those on select flights to Edinburgh and Manchester will be treated to the jokes and jabs of comedians on their way to the famous Edinburg Fringe Festival.
That’s probably good news for the comedians too, as they can try their acts out on a captive audience before facing the festival crowd.
Musicians will join the lineup in September.
The bands will reportedly be showing off the talents and rich musical experiences found in Manchester and Scotland.
Bands haven’t been announced quite yet, so it’s not clear if “rich musical experience” and “Scotland” are code for bagpipes.
When the line-up is ready to be announced, Virgin will do so via social media outlets but won’t say which flights will feature them.
Sir Richard Branson said live entertainment is in line with his vision for the airline. “We launched Virgin Atlantic Little Red to shake up domestic flying in the UK and this latest activity highlights why our customer service is second to none.”
