Tests on the remains of a human body unearthed in a bog in County Laois, Ireland, have established that they date back as far as 2000 BC.
The findings mean it is one of the oldest mummified bog bodies ever discovered.
The remains were found by a worker milling peat in 2011.
The chemical make-up of bogs can preserve human bodies for thousands of years.
