I wrote this piano trio in 2003, and this is the 2nd movement. It calls to mind an earlier, simpler time in rural America. I found several paintings (#1, 3 & 4) by Harvey Dunn that really spoke to me. One of this American painter’s themes was life on the prairie. The sheet music is available from me.
